About the Chamber
The Northeast Highlands Chamber of Commerce (NHCC) was established in 1996 to foster and improve the business climate to grow and prosper. It is linked to the Nova Scotia, Atlantic and Canadian Chambers of Commerce, which represent over 170,000 businesses of all sizes, from all sectors.
Like worldwide sister organizations, the goals of the NHCC are to promote a positive business environment and improve the economic and social well being of citizens and communities. The Chamber has over 60 members who represent a significant portion of the famed Cabot Trail, which attracts over 400,000 visitors annually. The region boasts many of the province's prized tourism assets including, the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, Keltic Lodge, Highlands Links Golf Course, and the best cross-country and alpine skiing facilities in Maritime Canada.
Over the years this area has developed into one of eastern Canada's premiere vacation spots. There is an abundance of attractions and activities that strike at the very core of what people want to do when they are on vacation. Whether you want to explore the area and seek adventures or find a beautiful place to rest and breathe in the crisp ocean air, the Northeast Highlands has something for everyone. If you wish to stay a week or for the entire summer we are sure you will leave with lots of fond memories and the intention of returning to this beautiful land we all love.
